High-speed maglev networks and techno-economic analysis
Study the functional roles, interfaces, and techno-economic performance of high-speed maglev and existing high-speed rail networks.
EDUCATION & ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
Training in modeling, optimization, simulation and academic writing through research projects and competition practice.
01 / TRAINING DIRECTIONS
The team integrates maglev research with graduate education in operation optimization, transport organization, traction-power coordination, and system validation. Students work through requirements, modeling, algorithms, simulation, and communication, translating results into papers, patents, software, and competition projects.
Study the functional roles, interfaces, and techno-economic performance of high-speed maglev and existing high-speed rail networks.
Study low-speed permanent-magnet maglev freight models, transport organization, system capacity, and cost for urban logistics demand.
Develop maglev speed profiles balancing safety, punctuality, and total energy consumption under line and running-time constraints.
Study service frequency, stopping patterns, departure times, section running times, headway, and line capacity.
Study cross-layer coordination among timetables, speed commands, traction power, and power-supply-zone configuration.
